Description
The video shows Prof. Cristina Coca, lecturer in medical psychology at the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid and Associate professor in medical humanities at Universidad Europea de Madrid, arguing about features of the doctor-patient relationship in the Middle Ages. The medical student Celestina Garcia conducts the interview. Prof. Coca introduces the concept of medical paternalism and elucidates how the clinical relationship in the Middle Ages was from contemporary medicine.
